Pottery + Petals: Two-Part Workshop
PART I: Tuesday, July 29, 6:30-9:00 PM
Come learn to hand-build your own ceramic vase with Brooke, Saol Project team member and local potter! We will be outside on our beautiful flower farm, experimenting with different hand-building methods and tools to create our own unique pottery in a laid-back summer setting. All tools, clay, and instruction is included.
PART II: Tuesday, August 19, 6:30-8:30 PM
Your vase has been glazed and fired, and you will see the final product during Part II! Hannah, owner and lead designer at The Saol Project, will introduce you to key flower-arranging principles and help you design a beautiful arrangement for your handmade vase. Using fresh flowers that were grown and harvested from the fields around you, you will create a unique bouquet. At the end of the night, you’ll go home with a vase and arrangement that were all made by hand, by you!
Note: in case of rain, we will be in our design studio instead of outdoors. If we do not reach our registration minimum, we will need to cancel this workshop. If we cancel, we will let you know two days prior to the event (July 27) by email. Images are not ours.
