Come learn how to start your own cut flower garden with me! We’ll spend the afternoon chatting about flowers and how to create your own cut flower garden at home. A mix between an informational session and hands-on learning.

Wednesday, April 15th at 2pm

Sunday, April 19th at 2pm

What’s included?

1) Farm Walk:

  • a peak at the farm in it’s not-so-pretty early Spring phase

  • see what we have planted/ overwintered and what the process is for getting our beds ready to be planted in

2) Cut Flower Garden Lesson:

  • annuals vs perennials

  • basic cut flower garden design: shape, height, spacing, etc

  • start planning your own cut flower garden (bring the dimensions of your garden to the workshop)

3) Seed Starting Lesson:

We’ll start some seeds together! You’ll take home your seedling tray, care for them and then be able to plant out your own seedlings in May!

What’s provided

  • cell tray

  • soil + vermiculite

  • bottom watering tray

  • top clear dome

  • labels

  • seeds: possible varieties might include cosmos, foxglove, snapdragons, feverfew, yarrow, zinnias

  • all instruction
